Resource and ReferralsEnglish Classes: In 2004 volunteers began teaching English as a Second Language (ESL) classes to individuals in the community who needed to improve their English skills. Today volunteers teach three weekly classes during the traditional school year and one class during the summer months. The classes rotate on an eight week cycle and focus on basic conversation, reading and writing. The volunteer teachers constantly update class materials and teaching methods in order to provide high level English instruction. Our English classes help create new opportunities and build confidence for our students!
